Britney Spears will take a seat next to James Corden on an upcoming episode of “Carpool Karaoke.” Let’s just hope she sings it live.
The “Make Me” singer will appear on the The Late Late Show with James Corden segment on August 25, the day before the release of her ninth studio album, Glory.
Britney has already released two songs from Glory including the G-Eazy-featuring “Make Me” and the genre-blending “Private Show.” In an interview with V earlier this year, the singer said her followup to Britney Jean will be “very different.”
“I’m proud of the work, and it’s very different; it’s not what you would think at all,” she said. “But I’m not rushing anything. I just want it to be done right, so that my fans will truly appreciate it.”
James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke segments have been massively successful, featuring A-list guests like Adele, J. Lo, and Michelle Obama. An upcoming 16-episode spinoff will debut exclusively on Apple Music.
